Some of the coolest superhero movies in the DVD entertainment world.

We all know that the industry for films and TV entertainment is one of the biggest entertainment sectors on the planet. Nowadays, in the U.S.A alone, the movie business is generating over $35 billion USD in annual revenue.

One of the most advanced, enjoyed and incredibly successful entertainment genres is super hero movies. The hero film genre has made it to the top of the charts, after the release of some of the most epic and sought out movies that ever came out of the box office.

We surely have come across an uncountable amount of epic superhero movies that kept racing to the top of the box office charts, and it would be near impossible to name them all, therefore here we’re coming with three of our favourite box office-blowing movies of all time that feature our favourite superheroes;.

Starring David Harbour as “Hellboy”, Milla Jovovich as “Nimue the Blood Queen”, Sasha Lane as “Alice Monaghan”, Ian McShane, Daniel Dae Kim, Thomas Haden Church and more, Hellboy was one of the coolest, most unusual superhero movies ro hit the market by storm. The movie’s uniqueness stems from the fact that it did not originate from the Marvel or DC comics.

The movie consists of the legendary half demon Hellboy, who while fighting three rampaging giants, comes against one Nimue the Blood Queen, a sorceress resurrected from ancient times, who is plotting revenge towards a betrayal in her past. Hellboy ends up caught up in a clash between his human side and his supernatural side, as he uses the power of hell to attempt at stopping Nimue, without accidentally causing the world to end.

This motion picture is surely one worth watching, and it made such a good name for itself, it is even featured on games at Norges Casino. The movie generated almost $100 million USD in box office revenue. Later on, the second Hellboy came out, and it generated an even more attractive $168 million USD.

Starring Scarlett Johansson as “Black Widow”, Chris Evans as “Captain America”, Robert Downey Junior as “Iron Man”, Chris Hemsworth as “Thor”, Mark Ruffalo as “Hulk”, and more,  The Avengers had released a total of 4 movies, and each of the 4 made it to the top of the box office charts. Ranked no.4 in worldwide gross is Avengers: Age of Ultron, with $1.4 billion USD generated in box office revenue. Coming in third was the first edition of The Avengers, with $1.5 billion USD generated. In second comes Avengers: Infinity War, which generated $2.05 billion USD in revenue, and last but not least, the highest grossing movie on the planet, Avengers: Endgame, which generated a whopping 2.8 billion USD in global gross revenue.

The Avengers made it to this unprecedented success thanks to being the first major crossover between a squad numerous world-famous superhero films. This was the start of something new that was never attempted before.

These carefully thought out stories deserve every penny they have earnt. They’re designed, written, produced, and executed perfectly, and I cannot think of another movie or movie series that could ever possibly top the Avengers, however, I’m sure that the wait will not be long till we come across another incredible movie that will exceed them in the coming year of 2021.

Black Panther

Starring Chadwick Boseman as “Black Panther”,  Michael B. Jordan as “Erik Killmonger”, Lupita Nyong’o as “Nakia”, Danai Gurira as “Okoye”, Letita Wright as “Shuri”, Martin Freeman as “Everett K. Ross”, and more, Black Panther was one of the  biggest movie releases in 2018, and is also the 5th highest grossing box office motion picture, coming just under the four Avengers movies.

T'Challa finally returns to the African country of Wakanda only after his father ’s passing away, to claim his true destiny as emperor, until  a formidable adversary abruptly resurfaces, the resolve of T'Challa as King—and Black Panther—is checked once he is pulled in towards a war that endangers the destiny of Wakanda and the whole planet. The young ruler must unite his friends in the midst of betrayal and risk and unleash the Black Panther's full strength to destroy his enemies and ensure his folk's protection.

Black Panther managed to generate a worldwide gross of $1.35 billion USD, a truly deserved success for such a well thought out, executed and sought after movie.
