One Of The Funniest Carol Burnett Show Skits Ever

There were loads of funny skits featured on The Carol Burnett Show which ran on CBS from 1967-1978. Their Gone With the Wind parody leaps to mind, probably the most famous of all.

This musical take off on Cinderella, with guest stars The Pointer Sisters, also features series regulars Harvey Korman, Tim Conway, and Vicki Lawrence. It's hilarious from start to finish and the musical numbers are terrific as well.

Notice the costumes by Bob Mackie who was also known for Cher's look on TV.

In this retelling of the classic fairy tale, Cinderella wants to go to the big disco ball but is twarted by her evil stepsisters, played to the hilt by the Pointer Sisters.

The Pointer Sisters appeared quite often on The Carol Burnett Show and no wonder, they were effervescent.
