Wood did the cover of the Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide for 1979 and he also ran an ad in that book for his fan club that knocked me out.

I wrote to Wood and asked him if maybe the ad was for sale.

Glad you liked the Overstreet cover . .
I sort of did too. I didn't do the color on it . .
Overstreet had Marie Severin do it (I guess
he wanted an "EC look" and had the idea she
did the color on the covers (I always did my
own color, but what the hell . .) I don't have
my ad back yet, but if I do decide to sell it,
I'll let you know.

I've sold over 2000 Wizard Kings so far . .
I had a big spurt in memberships when my ad
first came out. It's tapered off now, but I've
got 1129 members . .

My cats are fine . .
