By this time I had amassed a large collection of original art, from Wally Wood and others. I wrote to Wood to ask him if it was alright with him if I gave my friend Mike the All-Star 59 page he had sent to me originally. It's the polite thing to do. I also asked how many members he had signed up....

How about 1146? They're still coming in . .
Sure, you can give Mike the All-Star page, if you want to.
Your Cannon is on the way, and (I hope) the Gazette is too.
Jack (Robinson) is mailing them out, and since you're
#2, your copy must be in the mail now. The con I'm going
to is Jack's con in Syracuse . . Expect to sell a few
Wizard Kings there, and sign up some new members.
I'll let you know how it went . . it's the 19th of next month.
I'm also going to one in New Haven . . it's a small, one-day
affair, but it's so close I can't NOT go . . It's at a
Holiday Inn, just down the street from me . .
