A contest was held to name the parrot, the winner was 'Sping,' (pronounced
'spin-j') short for spinach.
A group portrait of Chuck Zink (minus His
"Skipper Chuck" hat and t-shirt) with "Scrubby" (Richard
Elvin Pritchard) and Musical Director Mr. Tommy Gannon. This was the final
cast of Zink's long-running children's program. Zink died January 3, 2006.

Allan Mason of Broadcast Network News writes: According to Wikipeadia Chuck Zink died January 5, 2009 I worked with Chuck at WXEL Television where I produced his last television interview. He was a friend, and is missed.
