Restaurant Chains We Might Lose

Steak & Shake, Ruby Tuesday, Perkins, Marie Callender's, Friendlys, Boston Market, Luby's, Pie Five, Red Robin, Tim Hortons are all fast food chains that appear to be headed for extinction according to this Mashed video.
As a native of North Carolina, many of these joints I've never heard of. I have to admit, Ruby Tuesday's advertisements seem a bit desperate these days, they run a new email promotion just about every day. Love their so-called Garden (salad) Bar however.
Red Robin had a great reputation a decade ago, hard to believe they are failing.
Loved, loved, loved me some Marie Callender's in the 1980s when I lived in Los Angeles, the Wilshire Boulevard location in particular, adjacent to the La Be a Tar Pits, had the best Frisco Burger I've ever tasted. And the pies... heavenly. Sad to think they'll go the way of the dinosaurs. The frozen products are decent but not great, although they have a fine turkey pot pie I'd freely recommend.

Steak & Shake was a serious mistake from the start if you ask me - you have the word 'steak' in your name yet you serve no steaks?!? Boston Market is too expensive and the side portions are too big and bland, not all that tasty. Luby's, Tim Hortons, Friendlys, and Pie Five are not on my radar. Pie Five - I guess the owners thought was a clever name (high five / pie five?).
I enjoy Mashed videos, they do their homework and present solid information that's easily digestible.

In addition to the list compiled for that Mashed video, Pizza Hut announced recently that they would be closing the remainder of their red-roofed dine-in locations. That breaks my heart, those familiar dining rooms, each one identical to the next, were a big part of my youth.
I once ate at a Pizza Hut Express in London, basically a walk up counter selling slices, that was really tasty. Didn't taste at all like Pizza Hut in the USA.
