The Alfalfa Conspiracy?

Headline
by LA Scandals

Ask someone how Alfalfa died and I'll bet they'll tell you that he was shot to death in a bar over a drug deal - that's the story you'll hear most often.

Here is the 'true' story of
how Carl "Alfalfa" Switzer was killed.

Several generations grew up with the 'Our Gang' kids, they were stars of dozens of short subjects produced in the Thirties by the Hal Roach Studios. These black and white shorts enjoyed a whole new life on television - they were popular fare on Sunday mornings and on local kid shows from the Fifties, Sixties and Seventies.

Watching these hilarious films today, you might be struck by how decrepit and dingy everything was in the Thirties. These 'Little Rascals' were kids of the depression playing in their environment - and life was not pretty back then!

Spanky, Darla, Buckwheat, Alfalfa and the gang were the first wave of kid stars the entertainment industry ever produced, and they had some of the same problems that their television counterparts would have decades later.

In that context, I was intrigued when I received the email from LAscandals, and the package of newspaper clippings that followed - they told the story of a desperate North Hollywood resident that died an ingnamonious death.

Here's the part of the story that no one disputes - M.S. (Bud) Stiltz shot Carl "Alfalfa" Switzer to death in the Mission Hills home of famous cowboy star "Crash" Corrigan's ex-wife. What really happened that night remains clouded in mystery to this day.

"Are you a "Little Rascals" fan ? I'm a huge fan of Carl 'Alfalfa' Switzer and recently I have been doing research on him in regards to his murder.

"I have in my possession some newspaper articles from the time that clearly show that "Alfalfa" may have been unarmed at the time of his murder - contrary to the popular belief that he pulled a knife on the accused murderer.

"I'm on a mission to show other "Alfalfa" fans that he may have been murdered in cold blood and possibly a smoke screen and cover-up were created to hide the truth as to the real reason why he was murdered. There seems to be a growing number of "Alfalfa" fans who agree with me."
