This transcendent program is loaded with heart and soul, a tad predictable but for a network drama (NBC) it truly is a revelation. A soaring drama that never sours, sentimental without being schmaltzy.

I'm a fan in general of sports movies, the film this series was based on is one of my favorites. I didn't think the producers could pull it off but pull it off they did, and how.
