Unfortunately there has never been an official release of Lucy Show episodes. What is on the market now are public domain episodes and there are plenty of them out there with a varying degree of quality.

In fact, there are only 2 fully restored Lucy Show episodes that have been officially released on DVD - on The Untouchables season 1 volume 2 and on the Gomer Pyle, USMC season 1 set.

This collection features 10 episodes and they look and sound pretty good considering they come from old, ragged syndication prints.

Guest stars include Jack Benny, George Burns, Mel Torme, John Wayne, Don Rickles, Carol Burnett, Milton Berle, Frankie Avalon, Robert Goulet and Sheldon Leonard. All classic episodes.

While that collection may be out of print, this Lucy Show DVD set looks pretty good, it has all of the above episodes and more. It also features the special, Lucy in London and many of the funniest shows in the series run like Lucy’s Substitute Secretary and Lucy and Viv Put in a Shower. Great stuff.

The Untouchables Season 1 Volume 2

The Untouchables was and is the quintessential film noir TV series. The blood flows freely, beatings are commonplace, women are tommy-gunned down in dark alleys, the rivers are littered with weighted bodies, gun fights in the streets are frequent as are drive by shootings.

You can be assured of at least one or two major shootouts per episode, these goons go down in a hail of bullets every time. That's why The Untouchables was known in its day as the most violent show on television, there were so many dropping bodies the network had to clamp down on the production in later seasons because of viewer complaints. Italian American groups complained about the stereotypes and one Union boss threatened to leave the sponsor's products rotting on the docks unless the show stopped profiling the Goomba of the week.
