In this mesmerizing TV movie, Michael Imperioli plays an emotionally disturbed former ball player who's drinking destroys his family and leaves him on the verge of suicide before encountering his mother - who passed away 9 years ago.

It's a powerful drama thanks to a strong script and co-star Ellen Burstyn who, as always, is riveting. She always delivers. Burstyn is one of those performers that can carry an entire production on her shoulders. Ask if there is a better actor working today and I'll respond with a blank stare.
